Showcase of new technology

Consumer Electronics Show, 2005, was a showcase of new technology. Maybe, there was too many stereo systems blaring away. We spent time with Escort Electronics and Beltronics, as well as our partners, Blinder USA. Escort wanted to highlight their new ZR3 Laser Jammer, which is designed as a stand alone product, but can also be easily integrated in the SR7 and SRX remote radar detectors. Both companies showed a variety of products, but the only thing we were interested in was their top performers: Escort ZR3 Laser Jammer, Escort 8500 X50, Escort SR7 and Escort SRX radar detectors; while Beltronics RX65 and RX75+ were the products of interest from Bel. The ZR3 is identical in design to the Beltronics LP 905 Laser Jammer, so both products should provide the same results, however, the LZ3 seems to provide better performance. The test results are discussed in Product Tests in this web site. The Escort SR7 is a stand alone remote mounted, radar detector with a very nice cockpit display and offers radar detection of X, K, Ka radar and laser detection in the grille. The SR7 Plus combines the SR7 and ZR3 Laser Jammer as a package. The SRX combines the ZR3, SR7 and Voice alerts. All of the above products are provided through this website and are the best remote radar detectors available. Blinder USA was showing the Blinder M20 and M40 and had a very nice video running that showed how the Blinder products are capable of defeating laser guns. A Harley was set up with an M20 Laser Jammer, shown above. We will show our products at the SEMA show in November 2005 in Las Vegas.
