ProDB-1 reacts instantly and eliminates your license plate data from a speed camera image, while leaving the rest of the photo intact. The ProDB-1 does not prevent the camera from taking a picture. The ProDB-1 detects and defeats all types of speed cameras that use white flash or invisible infrared flash, single flash or dual flash. The ProDB-1 comes equipped with Cool White LED license plate lights, which can be switched on or off using the optional APC Power Control. The ProDB-1A fits single 12" wide license plate in USA, CA, Mexico and South America, as well as other countries using a 12" license plate.

The ProDB-1A Photo Blocker includes LED Alert Only and a 3 way power switch with Photoblock/Detect Mode, License Plate Lights Only Mode and Off. The optional APC Power Control can be purchased separately to connect a radar detector, 2 laser jammers, a 4 way power switch that controls the photo blocker and laser jammer modes of operation; and controls the Photo Blocker license plate lights. The APC Power Control is included with the ProDB-1, where as the ProDB -1A includes only a LED alert and 3 way power switch

Upon the initial start up with 1 photo blocker plugged in, you will see the ALERT LED turn red, indicating initial communication and self test between ProDB and ALERT LED. The ALERT LED will stay red for a typical 15 seconds, then turn green indicating operation is ready to detect dual flash and single flash speed cameras.
