Passport Max 2 provides photo speed camera alerts, learns where false radar alert locations are, remembers those false locations and stores the false locations in memory to reduce false radar alerts. It also provides WEB updates. With the new DSP integration, this radar detector provides the very best radar detection and speed camera alerts of any radar detector today. The new radar platform also allows for significant design enhancement, giving the Passport Max radar detector a longer design life than ever before. In Park Assist mode, the HP905 Triple will alert you with audio, visual and voice alerts while you park your car in a dark garage where you could bump into vertical objects that could damage your vehicle. Park Assist has a second valuable feature.

In Laser Detect mode, which is the mode of operation the HP-905 Compact is shipped in, the laser detector will alert only to laser guns. You as the driver can choose to operate in Park Assist, Laser Detector or Laser Jammer operation.

In Laser Jammer mode, the HP-905 Triple Sensor will detect a laser gun beam painting your vehicle, analyze the laser beam and determine which laser gun is painting your vehicle in less than 1 nano second (for those of you who are not sure how fast that is, one nano second is 1 billionth of a second - it's much faster than the laser gun); then the laser jammer send back a blanking pulse that is undetectable to the laser gun, causing the laser gun to NOT DISPLAY a SPEED of your vehicle. Even the laser guns using pulse frequency hopping between two or more frequencies are detected and blocked.
